About ArmaPC

ArmaPC was born from a simple idea: building your own gaming PC shouldn't be a privilege reserved for experts. With the right information, anyone can do it — and save money, understand what they're buying, and end up with a machine built exactly for them.

What we do

We're an educational guide, not a store. Our goal is for you to learn to choose your components with confidence, understand why each part matters, and avoid the most common mistakes when building your first PC. To do that, we offer three tools:

• Recommended budgets by tier, from the most affordable to the most powerful, so you can see at a glance what to expect from each range.
• An interactive configurator that checks in real time whether the parts you choose are compatible with each other.
• Guides written from scratch that explain every concept without assuming you already know about technology.

What we believe in

We believe in honest, accessible information. The prices we show are reference values, always based in US dollars and convertible to your currency, so you get a realistic idea no matter where you live. When something is an estimate, we say so. When a part isn't ideal, we explain why.

How we're funded

Running a site like this has costs. To keep it going, we show ads and, in some cases, include links to stores where you can buy the components. If you buy through those links, we might earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. This never influences our recommendations: we're still a guide, and what we suggest is what we genuinely believe is best for you.

Why ArmaPC exists

When I first got into building PCs, I ran into the same thing you might be running into now: most of the good information assumed you already knew about technology, or was scattered across forums with conflicting advice. Tutorials assumed you understood what a socket was or why a power supply mattered. And "best components" lists almost never explained the why behind each pick.

I'm the type who learns by doing. I taught myself, compared hundreds of parts, got a few things wrong along the way, and slowly figured something out: building a PC isn't as complicated as it seems — you just need someone to explain it clearly, without the runaround.

ArmaPC is the site I wish I'd found when I started. It's built for anyone who wants to build their own rig without feeling lost, regardless of budget or how much they know about tech. Here you won't find unnecessary jargon or recommendations you can't understand: just honest explanations, tools that guide you step by step, and the information you need to decide for yourself.
